How To… Carve a Pumpkin!
The end of October sees one of the most eerie, spooky and exciting times of the year… Halloween! Amongst the endless sweets, cob webs and witches hats, Halloween would not be Halloween without the Jack ‘o’ Lantern – AKA the pumpkin!!

Jack ‘o’ Lanterns have been around, warding off evil spirits, since the 17th Century. Nowadays, they represent this spooktacular holiday and give us all a chance to show off our creativity, (or lack of!) to our neighbours!
Here at Butlins Bognor Regis, we have ordered in over 550 pumpkins to carve in our activities sessions over October half term!
So you can try at home too, we have made you a video, full of hints and tips of how to carve a scary pumpkin!
