Working on resort at Butlin’s Bognor Regis means I am lucky enough to see and be involved in some truly magical experiences. This will range from Family breaks, Live Music Weekends, Conferences to Entertainment, new product, grand openings and some amazing food!
On Friday night, I got to add another amazing experience to my list that has been growing since I started at Butlin’s. I got my glad-rags on, headed to the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London, and was part of the team that collected the C&IT Award for BEST UK Conference Venue!
The C&IT Awards, aka, the ‘Conference & Incentive Travel Excellence Awards’, are highly regarded within the Conference and Events Industry and we were absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for the award of UK Best Conference Venue. So can you imagine our excitement and how overwhelmed we were to win!
The combination of purpose-built conference facilities, exciting incentive offerings and previous success stories, (with global banks and international retailers both providing rave reviews from their own experiences), all culminated to help the venue achieve this impressive accolade.
We were up against the QEII Centre, Center Parcs, Kings Place, Curve Theatre and 155 Bishopsgate- but it was Butlin’s that was awarded first place for its offering of a refreshing alternative to the more traditional venue, and its ability to provide a unique backdrop for events of all sizes.
Specifically, Bognor Regis – Butlins’ flagship conference destination – was awarded the top prize due to its accessibility, (located just two hours from London), as well as for its vast array of venues and facilities.
There’s no doubt, though, that we have won this award as a result of our hard-working team who make Butlin’s great. Well done all!
